Singing, Connection and Community Wellbeing
Get along to the next event!
At South Coast Harmony, community singing and creative workshops provide opportunities for people to connect, express themselves, learn new skills, and experience the wellbeing benefits of making music together.
I am passionate about creating inclusive and welcoming spaces where people of all ages, backgrounds, and levels of musical experience can participate. Whether through singing workshops, community choirs, wellbeing programs, dementia initiatives, intergenerational projects, or creative collaborations, the focus is always on connection, participation, and belonging.
Research consistently demonstrates that singing together can support emotional wellbeing, reduce stress, strengthen social connection, and enhance quality of life. Community music-making offers a powerful way to build confidence, foster resilience, and create meaningful shared experiences.
Over the years, I have developed and facilitated a range of singing and wellbeing projects across South Australia, working with community groups, schools, aged care services, health organisations, and local networks.
Workshops and Programs may include:
Each project is tailored to the needs, interests, and goals of the participants, creating engaging and meaningful experiences that support connection, creativity, and wellbeing.
If you are interested in collaborating on a workshop, community project, wellbeing program, or singing initiative, I would love to hear from you.

Testimonials
"Charlotte is a master space-holder and is helping me build confidence around my voice on so many levels. She's an amazing teacher and clearly LOVES her work with her whole heart 🩷." Joanna, Goolwa
"An absolute highlight of my week. Charlotte creates such a fun, safe and inclusive environment and knows how to get the best out of people and their voices." Sophie, Victor Harbor
"I have been a car singer my whole life and finally plucked up the courage to join Charlotte’s Voicework group last October. I was excited, nervous and feeling very vulnerable going into the first session however Charlotte’s warmth & professionalism immediately put me at ease. Group norms are clearly & gently set and I felt safe knowing that what happens in singing stays in singing! Each session I learn something new about myself within the group environment and it really feels wonderful being supported & encouraged and supporting & encouraging other women to be courageous with their voice. Charlotte has a gift for creating a space where vulnerability, emotion & courage are acknowledged & welcomed. We sing everything from folk to pop and there is a song for everyone - suggestions are encouraged! I have gained so much confidence with my voice and am now very happily singing around my family. I have to say it is one of the best things I have ever done in my life and I wish I had done it sooner, I feel like a part of me has been set free 🩷 Thank you Charlotte.
