Singing Lessons and Vocal Coaching in Goolwa for the Fleurieu Peninsula

Whether you are a complete beginner, returning to singing after many years, or looking to further develop your vocal skills, singing lessons can provide a rewarding opportunity for growth, confidence, creativity, and self-expression.

At South Coast Harmony, singing tuition is tailored to your individual goals, experience, and interests. Lessons focus on developing healthy vocal technique, breath support, vocal confidence, musical expression, and performance skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.

My approach combines more than 30 years of experience in music education with a deep understanding of the connection between voice, confidence, communication, and wellbeing. Learning to sing is not simply about producing the right notes—it is also about developing trust in your own voice and discovering the joy of authentic expression.

Lessons are suitable for adults and young people of all experience levels. Whether your goal is personal enjoyment, performance preparation, confidence building, or vocal development, sessions are designed to help you progress at a pace that feels comfortable and achievable.

Above all, singing should be enjoyable. My aim is to provide a welcoming and encouraging space where you can develop your skills, build confidence, and experience the pleasure of making music.

Lessons are available in Goolwa and throughout the Fleurieu Peninsula.

Testimonials

"I booked my first session with Charlotte because I wanted to be able to sing with confidence. We achieved this, which was wonderful. But the work was so much more than that. Charlotte helped me to find my voice - literally and metaphorically. She also supported me to connect with my feelings, become more comfortable in my own skin, and work through some old issues which had been holding me back. Charlotte combines her work as a skilled therapist with voice-work, breath-work and singing to magically and powerfully unlock things that feel hidden deep inside. She has a unique combination of knowledge and skill which makes working together powerful, safe and joyful. I would recommend her to anyone, particularly women who are ready to shed some layers and step into who they really are." Em, Aus

"My work with you changed my life in a profound way. It was a turning point. I started singing because I thought it would be fun but soon realised that singing is so much more. It was a way of finding my voice and accessing something deeper. What surprised me was how much better I could sing when you helped me get some old stuff out of the way. I am so grateful to you for your insightful guidance through song. I am in a strong place now and you have been such an important part of my journey." Jane Lewis, Coordinator, Focus on Relationships, Aus

"I thoroughly recommend Charlotte’s singing therapy to all trauma survivors. In 2019 I was diagnosed with severe PTSD. As a trauma survivor I needed a singing coach who would understand the triggers that might come up for me as I found my voice. I have been working with Charlotte for only a couple of months and the difference in my vocal quality, as well as confidence in using my voice, has been profound. Charlotte's training as a counsellor and singing coach, coupled with her exceptional kindness and authenticity, has offered the most beautiful space within which I have been able to flourish. In a way that I did not think possible. Thank you Charlotte for holding that space for me in a way no-one else could." Rachel Vaughan, Aus

"My singing lessons with Charlotte were a godsend. Having damaged my voice over the years, her sensitive, healing approach restored my range, so that I could contemplate joining a choir again. Singing together is such a gift. Thank you, Charlotte."
Barbara Baldwin, International Speaker and Educational Consultant. Aus

"Charlotte creates an extremely safe space to explore the voice. She combines her years of experience with techniques to unlock and unleash 'your song'. I found my lessons with Charlotte to be rich and explorative and recommend her highly whether just to play for personal fulfilment or to learn for professional extension and technique." Caitlin McDougall, Actor, Aus

Charlotte changed my life, teaching me how to find my voice through singing. She has an incredible gift as a singing teacher as she helps you reach your full potential, gently building your confidence and skill through singing." Dr Bindi Macgill, Senior Lecturer in Arts Education, UniSA, Aus

"In less than six months, Charlotte has transformed me from someone who had no idea how to sing or any belief in her ability to sing (I really wanted to try though) into someone who can sing. I am truly amazed at what my voice is able to do and how much I love it. Charlotte’s expert guidance, heartfelt encouragement and ability to provide me with the vocal exercises I need, as well as songs I can and do love to sing has been an absolute gift to me. I thank her with all my heart." Carole Barrett, Aus
