At South Coast Harmony, I offer trauma-informed counselling and voice-based therapeutic support to help you reconnect with yourself, your strengths, and your capacity for healing. I also offer singing lessons, choirs, workshops and retreats to build on existing vocal ability, learn new skills, create, connect and decompress.
A Compassionate, Creative Approach to Therapy
My work integrates trauma-informed counselling with attachment theory, neuroscience, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), somatic work, parts-informed approaches, and voice-based therapeutic work. This creates a supportive space where you can:
Understand and heal the impact of difficult life experiences
Develop emotional regulation and resilience
Explore anxiety, grief, stress, and life transitions
Rebuild self-compassion and self-understanding
Reconnect with voice, creativity, and authentic expressionHealing is not about fixing what is broken — it is about gently reconnecting with your own capacity for growth, meaning, and change.
A Kind and Innovative Approach to Singing
I draw on extensive professional and industry experience - over 30 years as a teacher and workshop leader, and 15 years as a professional singer and songwriter.
Everyone has a right to sing. We express ourselves into the world with our voice. Whatever voice you have is good enough. People who can speak, can usually also sing. This includes the tone-deaf (1.5-4% of people) who can sing, just not in tune. It may preclude people with neurological or structural issues, for whom I can tailor a creative program to support health and wellbeing.
For those of us who can, when we sing together, we connect. We belong. If you sing in a safe enough environment, you will feel more confident. The more you sing, the more confident you will feel. Some people get better with time. Almost everyone that sings, feels better for it. It may take time, but you can sing until the end, so let's get started.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out. If you’re ready to explore counselling, psychotherapy, or singing with me, I'd love to hear from you!
